Saturday
MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP- $450 - Limited Spots
FALL SESSION: Saturday 10:00 - 1:00pm - Oct. 5th – Dec. 14
Ages 7-18
Act! Sing! Dance! and learn it all at MT Workshop! Young artists will rotate through an hour in each musical theatre discipline to learn technique and rehearse for a final performance! This all-encompassing class is designed to build confidence, learn how to work as an ensemble, and put it all into practice with a final workshop presentation for friends and family at the end of the 10-weeks.
This Fall, MT Workshop will explore Aladdin, Kids! Join us for this story full of magic, mayhem, and all the best characters!
MT Workshop will take place in the classrooms at Durham Friends Meeting house at 404 Alexander Ave., Durham, NC 27705.
The final two days, December 7th and December 14th, will take place at Durham Arts Council for the final presentation in PSI Theatre at DAC.

SHOWSTOPPERS - $112
FALL SESSION B: Mondays - 5:15-6:15pm - Mondays, Oct. 21 – Dec. 9th
Ages 8-12
Musical Theatre is full of showstopping dance numbers with bigger than life characters! This dance class will focus on choreography from our favorite musicals and their best showstoppers! This session will end in a presentation of the work explored during the class.

PLAYFUL PLAYERS- $112
FALL SESSION B: Tuesdays 5:15-6:15pm - Oct. 22nd – Dec. 10th
Ages 8-12
Let’s create a band of players for this classic ensemble building class! Shakespeare was a genius writer, but part of what made him great was that he created theatre with his ensemble of friends, or players! This class will create original scenes using some of Shakespeare’s best themes of magic and intrigue! Young theatre loving artists and novices alike will enjoy creating their own scenes inspired by the genius, William Shakespeare!
COLLABORATIVE PLAYWRITING - $112
FALL SESSION B: Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm - Oct. 22nd - Dec. 10th
Ages 13-18
This class has students wearing multiple hats: actor, writer, director, producer! What does it take to create a piece of theatre from start to finish! Young artists will explore how to create a piece of theatre from idea to performance and tap into their own artistic voices as they create original theatre! This class will end in a sharing of the work and the process created over the course!
WEDNESDAY
CREATIVE DRAMA - $98
FALL SESSION B: Wednesdays - 4:00-5:00pm - Oct. 23rd - Dec. 11th
Ages 5-7
Discover, create, and perform! Students will explore dynamic characters through storytelling! Using the actor’s tools: voice, body, and imagination, students will bring beloved stories to life! This class will end in a final presentation!
ACTING ESSENTIALS - $98
FALL SESSION B: Wednesdays - 5:15-6:15pm - Oct. 23rd – Dec. 11th (No class 11/27)
Ages 8-12
Let’s build our actor toolbox! Always wanted to be an actor? This class will explore what it means to be an artist by exploring the process of being a performer from auditioning, to callbacks, to rehearsal! This class will end in a final sharing on the last day.

DYNAMIC DANCE- $98
FALL SESSION B: Thursdays - 4:30-5:30pm - Oct. 24th – Dec. 12th (No class 11/28)
Ages 5-7
Kick it up a notch with this high-octane movement class, specifically geared towards young artists! This class will bring to life dances from our favorite Broadway musicals! This session will end in a presentation of the work explored during the class.
