AUDITIONS
Vault Theatre, a professional theatre company located in Durham, is dedicated to unlocking the imagination through comprehensive and innovative theatre programming onstage, in the classroom, and within the community. Vault Theatre is focused on investing in the artistic work and stories of our rising young voices. Our work celebrates stories of radical hope for the future for audiences of all ages, nurtures the artistic voices of young performers, creates dialogues for social change, and mentors early career artists for continued growth in the performing arts industry.
Vault Theatre holds auditions for both select youth programs and for professional actors for our touring productions.
Youth Auditions
Most of Vault Theatre's programs do not require an audition. Families can sign up for Studio Classes and Musical Theatre Workshop and all students are cast! For our advanced teen program, there are auditions.
There are current auditions for VaultWorks, Vault Theatre’s audition-only program offering pre-professional training for artists ages 12–18 who are ready to dive in, take creative risks, and build fearless ensemble theatre.

VaultWorks Artist Training is excited to announce auditions for Alice by Heart on February 21st.
Professional AuditioNs
Vault Theatre hires professional actors for theatre for young audience productions that tour to schools throughout the year. All roles paid. There are currently no auditions scheduled.
