Act! Sing! Dance! Musical Theatre Workshop gives young artists, ages 7 to 18, the tools to grow as performers and the chance to shine in a final presentation for friends and family.
Each 10-week session blends high-energy training with rehearsal, as students rotate through dedicated time in acting, voice, and dance. Along the way, they build confidence, strengthen technique, and learn what it means to be part of a true ensemble.
It’s a space for creativity, new skills, and joyful collaboration where every rehearsal is a chance to grow, and every artist has something unique to bring to the story.
fall 2025
Vault Theatre’s Musical Theatre Workshop dives headfirst into the swampy, silly, and spectacular world of Shrek The Musical KIDS. With unforgettable characters, high-energy dances, and showstopping songs like “Big Bright Beautiful World,” this musical is big fun with an even bigger heart.
From dancing rats to wisecracking donkeys, our ensemble of young artists will work together to bring this larger-than-life fairy tale to the stage. Along the way, they’ll sharpen their skills in acting, singing, and movement all while telling a story that reminds us that true beauty comes from the inside (even if you’re green and grumpy).
It’s messy, magical, and full of mayhem — just the way Shrek would want it.

vaultworks
An audition-only training ground for the next generation of bold, curious artists.

VaultWorks is a pre-professional program for teens (ages 12–18) who are ready to level up their craft—whether they’re all-in on school productions or seeking training beyond the classroom. It’s designed for young performers who want more: more challenge, more collaboration, and more space to discover what makes them stand out.
At VaultWorks, you’ll dive into high-impact training that pushes you artistically while honoring your unique voice. You’ll be part of an ensemble that values creative risk-taking, exploration, and what it means to show up as a full artist in the room—onstage and off.
Each week offers immersive, rotating focus areas that include:
-
Acting – Scene work, monologue study, character development, and audition technique
-
Voice – Vocal storytelling, unlocking your sound, and building confidence
-
Movement & Dance – Physical acting, stage movement, and choreography essentials
Students ready to take the next step will also receive college audition coaching to help craft standout monologues, vocal pieces, and strategies for competitive programs.
VaultWorks isn’t just about preparing for your next role—it’s about shaping your path as an artist. In a world where creativity, adaptability, and collaboration are essential, this program builds the mindset of a theatre maker ready to thrive. Whether you're into musicals, plays, or something entirely new, VaultWorks gives you the tools to create, connect, and lead.
Auditions open now—step into the room, and let’s see what you can do.
Auditions
August 16th
1:00–3:30 PM
4221 Garrett Rd.
Join us for a workshop-style audition where we’ll spend time getting to know you as an artist before jumping into individual auditions. This is a collaborative space — come ready to move, connect, and explore!
What to Prepare:
Song: Sing 16–32 bars of a song of your choice. Please bring a backing track (on your phone is fine — we’ll have a speaker).
Monologue: Prepare a short, memorized monologue. Don’t have one? No worries — choose one from our provided list.
Movement: Be ready to move! Wear something comfortable.
VaultWorks is about ensemble, artistry, and growth — not perfection. If you're never auditioned before and this is all new to you, have no fear, come prepared with what you've got and we can’t wait to meet you.

spring 2026 dates
Tuesdays, 5:30-8:30pm

Once accepted into the program, attendance at all classes is expected. VaultWorks is an ensemble-driven program, and the work depends on everyone showing up consistently and fully engaged. However, this program is designed to complement the theatre work happening in schools, not compete with it. We’ll work with your school production schedule to avoid major conflicts.
