jennifer fairbanks

Jennifer Fairbanks is a dance educator, choreographer, and performer. She loves dance of all styles and has studied ballet, jazz, musical theater dance, contemporary, and ballroom. Jennifer holds a BA in Dance Education and was trained in children’s dance pedagogy under Christine Ollerton; a mentee of Virginia Tanner. As a dance educator she ran a dance program in a public high school, began and built up a community dance program in Apex, NC and staged many dance productions over the years for children and teen dancers of all levels. As a performer, Jennifer danced for a contemporary and ballroom dance company in college, worked at Walt Disney World Parks as a character performer and dancer, and has performed in many musicals and plays throughout her life. Currently, she is rehearsing to play Mrs. Beauregarde in the Orange Community Players production of Willy Wonka.
