jalen mckoy

Jalen is an actor and writer from Durham, NC, and a 2023 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Jalen has appeared in multiple productions at Hillside High School such as The Color Purple, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and High School Musical, and is a recurring actor in the Process Series for New Works at UNC-Chapel Hill. He also co-starred in the Carolina Film Association film, The Plug. Most recently, he wrote and performed a solo performance, Playing it Straight, at UNC-Chapel Hill. Jalen hopes to continue his career in Los Angeles as an artist creating work that inspires, humors, and connects.
