Cara valenti

Cara Valenti (she/her) is a music educator, director, and singer based in Durham. She holds an undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance as well as a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from UNC-Chapel Hill. Throughout her classroom teaching career she has taught grades Pre-K through 12th, most recently teaching music at Central Park School for Children. Cara is the director of Youth and Children’s choirs at Watts Street Baptist Church, the Assistant Artistic Director of Common Woman Chorus, and teaches private voice and piano lessons to children and adults. Cara enjoys performing often, both solo and as a part of several choral and a capella groups in the area.
